Hello Stranger

Ink illustration of something creepy and mysterious (hopefully!). I like the idea of something scary being obscured in shadow. To me, that mystery makes a creature much creepier than if it were well-lit and completely visible. At least I think so...
Also, I like the idea of a child encountering some kind of monster, but being more curious than afraid. I think an adult seeing something like this would run away. But I like to imagine this kid is amazed and intrigued, rather than afraid.
